Arsenal are keeping tabs on Mauro Icardi's deteriorating situation at Inter Milan.

Icardi has been the subject of fan protests after he criticised the club's supporters in his new autobiography.

They are demanding he is replaced as the club's captain and The Sun reports this could mean he ends up leaving the club - possibly for Arsenal.

Inter fans protested against Icardi and even cheered as he missed a penalty during their 2-1 defeat to Cagliari at the weekend.

The 23-year-old was heavily linked with a move to England over the summer but put an end to speculation by signing a new contract.
