Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny feels a preseason shake-up has sparked their stunning season form.
Szczesny claims work to improve the team's shape has helped pay defensive dividends during the current term.
"If you look at our defensive record this season then people might understand that we have improved," said Szczesny. "But I believe that there's still room for improvement, we've conceded 10 goals so far in the Premier League so I hope we can still improve.
"I think the whole team shape and the way we defend from up front [is better], not just the back four.
"I have less saves to make and when I do have saves they're usually from long range so I don't have a lot to do in games.
"It's a credit to the whole team shape and the work that we've done in pre-season."
