Arsenal hero Nigel Winterburn says Theo Walcott should be applauded for wanting to play for England and the U21s at this summer's European Championships.

He said: "It is very refreshing that Theo wants to play. Instead of people thinking it's a silly decision, Theo should be applauded. Footballers tend to be associated with money all the time or whatever they're doing wrong, so it's good that he wants to play football."
