Arsenal hero Paul Merson believes Arsene Wenger has greater market value than Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho. Merson last night insisted Wenger would be football's most-wanted manager if he left Arsenal - even eclipsing the pulling power of the Special One.
The ex-England winger-turned-pundit, 43, told the Daily Star: "The fans have got to be mad if they want to get rid of Arsene. Surely, they wouldn't want that to happen in their wildest dreams.
"Look, if Jose Mourinho was to leave Real Madrid tomorrow and Arsene left Arsenal at the same time, there would definitely be more clubs wanting Wenger.
"A club like Manchester City would take Wenger tomorrow if they had half a chance, because he hasn't spent £200million on new players, he's made £300m in profits."
