Arsenal hero Ray Parlour is confident Alexis Sanchez can handle the Premier League rough stuff.
Arsene Wenger has moved quickly and splashed out £33million on the Chile World Cup star from Barcelona to bolster his side's firepower.
Parlour, 41, told the Daily Star Sunday: "He's tough, he's mobile, he can score goals and he's got pace. "I can see him fitting in on that left-hand side of the striker or you can put him up front.
"He had a great tournament at the World Cup.
"I was lucky enough to see him in the Brazil-Chile game and at times he got kicked a lot.
"But he came back and wanted more and he will certainly get that in the Premier League."
