Arsenal defender Omar Rekik is in limbo at Servette.

Rekik signed on-loan with Servette in January, but the club failed to register his addition for the Swiss League before the set deadline.

League officials have now announced the defender cannot play in Swiss League games.

Rekik is registered for the Europa League, but he could yet be recalled by the Gunners with his playing situation now in limbo.

He spent the first-half of the season on-loan with Wigan Athletic.
