Freddie Ljungberg has left his role at Arsenal to follow in Andries Jonker to VfL Wolfsburg.
Jonker, 54, has been appointed as the new manager of the Bundesliga club following the sacking of Valerien Ismael on the weekend.
Former Gunners star Ljungberg had been working with Arsenal's academy but it has been confirmed that the Swede is now part of Jonker's coaching staff at Wolfsburg.
The pair take over at the Volkswagen Arena with the Wolves sitting 14th on the German top flight table, just two points clear of the drop zone.
