Arsenal fullback Jenkinson: I'm different player to last Liverpool game

Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson insists he's a better player since defeat to Liverpool earlier this season.

The 20-year-old full back played the full 90 minutes against Kenny Dalglish's men as the 10-man Gunners were beaten 2-0 at Emirates Stadium.

"I feel like I have matured a lot on the football field," he told Arsenal Player. "As a young player it is only natural to feel that the more minutes you get under your belt, the more you will adapt and show what you can do.

"That game at home to Liverpool seems like a long time ago now. It was a disappointing day all around.

"It was a game I didn't think we deserved to lose. I am as hungry as anybody to make sure we turn the tables at their place. I am really looking forward to Saturday and getting out there at Anfield."
