Arsenal eyeing Dijon keeper Runarsson to replace Aston Villa-bound Martinez

Arsenal have already moved to sign a replacement for Emiliano Martinez.

Mikel Arteta has decided to go with Bernd Leno as his number one goalkeeper over the Argentine.

The Gunners have accepted an offer of £20m for the 28-year-old and must now find Leno's new back-up.

And the Telegraph - via the Daily Star - says Edu has already made moves to sign Dijon star Runar Alex Runarsson.

The 25-year-old has raked up over 40 appearances since joining the Ligue 1 club in 2018.

It is unclear how much Runarsson - who has five caps for Iceland - will cost the north London club.
