Arsenal defender Ben White was happy scoring in their 6-0 thrashing of Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

White highlighted their hunger to continue seeking goals after being 5-0 up at halftime.

“When you go a few goals up early on, it always takes the pressure off," he said afterwards. “It allows you to enjoy the game, and score more like we did.

“We just played so aggressive from the start, created so many chances and with the players that we've got, we put them away today."

On his goal, White said: “Yeah, I wasn't really sure to be fair. I shot obviously, didn't look where I was shooting and did a little spin, so I didn't actually see the ball go in. But obviously I heard the crowd and was really excited.

“I don't score much, so it's really nice.

" I think you obviously see all the goals and it's all glamorous, but it's tough at the back and we've done so well again today.

“Hopefully this is just the start and can kick on for the rest of the season now."
