Arsenal defender William Saliba admits he enjoyed playing for Olympique Marseille coach Jorge Sampaoli.

Saliba has just completed a season-long loan with OM, helping them qualify for the Champions League/

He said: "Frankly, I spent a superb season by his side. He made me progress a lot, he trusted me, he put me in very good conditions from start to finish.

"It's been a wonderful year with him. I find him a very good coach, he has good ideas. Humanly too.

"He makes us laugh, that's important."
