Arsenal defender William Saliba has explained choosing Nice over Saint-Etienne.
After a first six months with Arsenal, former Saint Etienne prospect Saliba has returned to France with Nice. He joined OGCN on-loan to season's end.
He said at his Nice presentation yesterday: "Nice was my favourite choice because it is a good club that I have loved for a long time. A club which still plays at the top of the table and which qualifies for European competitions.
"It's a club with ambition, a good style of play based on possession.
"Saint-Etienne is my home, it's a comfort zone. I wanted to get out of that comfort zone. Coming to Nice where I have never played is a better choice."
