Arsenal are considering a bid of £15 million for Manchester United winger Nani. The Daily Star says Arsene Wenger, armed with a big transfer kitty, could be poised to swoop.

Negotiations for Robin van Persie's move from Arsenal to United went smoothly and the Gunners could try to use their willingness to deal as a way to manipulate a move for Nani.

Sir Alex Ferguson always insisted Nani was needed at Old Trafford but that view could change now that he has retired and David Moyes has taken over.
