Ajax defender Jurrien Timber could be an Arsenal player in the coming days.

The young defender was a huge target for Manchester United last summer, but no deal materialized.

While Liverpool were linked to Timber earlier in this transfer window, Arsenal appear to head the queue for his signature.

Football.london claims the Gunners will have to raise their rejected £30 million bid for the Dutch international.

One complication is that Bayern Munich are also eyeing the situation with Timber.
