Arsenal compete with Bayern Munich for German stars Mario Gotze, Marco Reus

Arsenal are competing with Bayern Munich for Bundesliga stars Mario Gotze and Marco Reus.

The Daily Mail says Bayern have earmarked the pair as potential transfer targets but both are also wanted by Arsene Wenger.

Gotze scored Borussia Dortmund's winner against Munich on Saturday.

Reus, 22, who scored a hat-trick in Borussia Moenchengladbach's 5-0 demolition of Werder Bremen, has also captured Bayern's attention.

"Gotze is a magnificent player despite being only 19 years old. Of course we observe such players," Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Sunday newspaper Welt am Sonntag.
"Reus has a clause in his contract that isn't exactly cheap (but) he could give us even more quality in the long run."

i tend to wonder why if prof. point a particular player, you see alot of coaches hungying for the player! please who can help provide an answer to this question? up GUNNERS!!! WHE SHALL FINISH THE SEASON WITH ATLEAST ONE TROPHY.

Getting both the players is not possible . Looking at the present situation i would go for Marco reus as he is a predator when it comes to goal scoring . Gotze is as good as reus but judging by the experience i would go for reus

We don't need both . Also i would suggest arsenal to go in for one more striker like soldado from valencia he is a good striker

WENGER IS WENGER. IN WENGER WE TRUST.NO WAY SHOULD WE LOOSE MARIO GOTZE AND MARCO REUS. WE MUST FIND MONEY FOR BOTH. BOTH REPRESENTS QUALITY AND FUTURE.WENGER MUST
BREAK BANK THIS TIME IF IT COMES TO THAT.
