New Arsenal goalkeeper Matthew Macey was outstanding in their U21 Premier League Cup win over Chelsea this week.

Macey,18, was snapped up by the Gunners late, last year from Bristol Rovers.

Gunners coach Steve Gatting said: "Matt did well. When you play Chelsea away the keeper has to play well for you to come out with a result.

"But along with the rest of the team, it was an impressive defensive performance."
