Arsenal are launching a bid for RB Leipzig midfielder Emil Forsberg.

BILD says the Gunners are preparing a €40m bid for the Sweden international.

Forsberg's season with RBL is over after being sent off on the weekend and he is understood to be ready to leave this summer.

Arsenal chief Sven Mislintat is already in contact, identifying the attacker as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez following his January defection to Manchester United.

The Gunners will open the bidding at a figure of €40m.
