Arsenal chief Edu boost as Yildiz spies Juventus exit

Arsenal have been encouraged in their interest for Juventus midfielder Kenan Yildiz.

Gunners chief Edu has joked this week about chasing a deal for the teen.

Sky Deutschland says Yildiz, 18, is considering leaving the Old Lady when the transfer window re-opens.

The senior Turkey international has managed just five substitute appearances for Juventus this season.

Edu was in Turin this week for Golden Boy ceremony, with Tuttosport reporting he may've taken the opportunity to meet with Juve about Yildiz.

But Edu responded to the report, joking: "Have I spoken to (Juve sporting director Cristiano) Giuntoli about January?

"No, he's a tough guy, too tough for me to deal with him!"
