Arsenal have handed trials to Egypt defender Ahmed Fathi.
The London Evening Standard says Al Ahly claim former Hull City and Sheffield United defender Ahmed Fathi, 29, is having a trial at the north London club.
Fathi feels he's ready to return to the Premier League this season.
