Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will not fight to keep hold of Cesc Fabregas this summer, it has been revealed.
Sport says Wenger intends to stay completely "neutral" and will not attempt to influence Cesc one way or the other.
Similar to the likes of Emmanuel Petit, Marc Overmars and Thierry Henry, if Cesc decides to hand in a transfer request, Wenger will not keep the midfielder against his will.
But despite Wenger's stand, Arsenal's moneymen will not be so easily maneuvered. The Gunners board will demand top price for the Spain star, should he choose to quit.
For their part, Barca are convinced they can land Cesc for £50 million.
