Arsenal boss Wenger targets emergency keeper loan signing

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger wants to sign a new goalkeeper on emergency loan.

The Sun says Wenger is looking to sign a keeper on an emergency loan after learning Wojciech Szczesny is out for up to six weeks.

The Pole dislocated a finger saving a Dani Alves free-kick against Barcelona and a scan revealed a tendon problem.

Though the injury is not as serious as first feared, Wenger - who last week recalled James Shea, 19, from Southampton - still wants another stopper as cover for Manuel Almunia.
