Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will not buy for the sake of it.

After selling Cesc Fabregas to Barcelona, Wenger insists he will only sign players who are better than he already has.

"What I want to say is that we are not frightened to spend money, but we have to be convinced the player is better than what we have," the Arsenal boss said.

"That is our main concern, to bring quality. We have quality, but want to add more quality."
