Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is closing on a deal for QPR striker Loic Remy.
The Mirror says Wenger wants to add £8million Remy to his revamped strikeforce.
The 27-year-old France international - who scored 14 Premier League goals for Newcastle United last season while on a year-long loan - is keen on the switch, having been spotted in the stands at the Emirates during an April match against West Brom.
A deal between the clubs is close, although personal terms have not yet been agreed.
