Arsenal boss Wenger praises Chelsea two-goal hero Drogba - sort of!

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger praised Chelsea's two-goal hero Didier Drogba - sort of - after their 3-0 defeat yesterday.

While Arsenal dominated parts of their game, Chelsea were much more clinical in front of goal.

Drogba's brace puts him on 14 goals for the season and Wenger believes the striker's performance was one of a man in form.

"He's a good player but it's funny because he doesn't do a lot but he's a very efficient in what he does," Wenger said. "He's in a period where when he kicks the ball it goes in.

"You can't tell me that when he kicked the ball for the first goal he wanted it to go in like that.

"The first goal was a great one but it was a goal from a striker who is full of confidence."
