Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger feels Joe Cole has lifted the quality at Lille.

The on-loan Liverpool midfielder was rested on the weekend by Lille coach Rudi Garcia in order to be fresh for their Champions League clash with Inter Milan.

"The quality is not lacking at all in the team of Rudi Garcia," opined Wenger. "Especially with the quality of Joe Cole, a leader in this team: he is definitely the key man for this Lille side."
