Arsenal boss Wenger knows they face test of bottle against Brighton

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger knows his players face a test of character at FA Cup opponents Brighton. After defeats against Manchester City and Chelsea - where the Gunners were slammed for gutless displays, particularly at the start of each match - Wenger accepts his side must not bottle it on the South Coast.

He said: "I know why you ask me, don't worry for that. We take that seriously. I have won the FA Cup four times because I take the competition seriously.

"It is important to go for every trophy. It is not only this trophy. We are in the Champions League.

"I know you have already kicked us out but we will surprise you.

"Just because we play against Bayern Munich and Jupp Heynckes and Pep Guardiola does not mean that we are out."
