After losing Cesc Fabregas to a knee injury, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists he has no regrets selling Lassana Diarra to Portsmouth last year.

Diarra signed for Real Madrid yesterday and Wenger said: "No, I have no regrets.

"We had a midfield that was Alexander Hleb, Cesc, Mathieu Flamini and Tomas Rosicky and he [Diarra] was behind that. He didn't accept it. What can you do?"
