Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has lauded former skipper William Gallas for his recent performance after scoring the winner against Portsmouth. The controversial Frenchman has been linked with a move away from the club in January but Wenger said that no players will be sold and labeled Gallas as a 'great' player.
"He (Gallas) answered everybody by his performance on the pitch and that's what you do when you are a great player," Wenger said.
"He started as a striker and looks most likely to score at set-pieces. He has good timing to attack the ball."
