Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has no doubts over the quality of January signing Gabriel Paulista.

Wenger insists Gabriel will not let him down and is confident the 24-year-old, who is taking daily English lessons, will eventually be a huge hit in the Premier League.

He said: "We've got a player with ability who likes to defend. It's more and more difficult to find people like that. He's a player with all good qualities.

"He has good pace, he's good in the air and he's good in the one against one.

"But I don't want to talk too much. I'll let him play and then he can show how good he is."
