Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has again criticised Manchester United for their money-spinning friendly played in Saudi Arabia last month.

Wenger declared: "I have turned down a lot of money, in cash, to play a friendly. I thought it was not the right way for us in the league.

"When the Premier League was created it had a lot of resistance but it pushed the league forward.

"It is inevitable football will go global in some way."
