Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is excited by his new-look attack.
Having seen some of his fringe players impress during their Emirates Cup triumph, most notably young Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner, the Arsenal manager has faith in the progression policy which has helped nurture many of the current first-team squad.
"We have bought Eduardo (Da Silva), and we have Bendtner and Walcott to take over from these players," said Wenger, hopeful his main summer arrival will get clearance on a work permit from the Home Office later this week.
"You can not say Walcott is a potential world-class player and then, when we have to play him, ask why we do not sign another world-class player. You can not have it both ways."
