Arsenal boss Wenger: Cesc could not have scored Spurs wonder goal two years ago
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists Cesc Fabregas would not have been capable of scoring his individual wonder goal against Tottenham two years ago.
Wenger feels critics sometimes overlook the fact he is still developing.
“When you see the run of Fabregas on Saturday,” Wenger told arsenal.com. “He would not be capable of doing that two years ago.
“Why? Because at 22 you are more powerful than at 20.
“What people forget is that these players are very young and that it is normal and natural that they develop into stronger players.
“That is why I feel there is a lot more to come from them.”

that's why we wouldn't win anything. and when our players are capable of doing smth good, they will leave. it's kinda a vicious cycle. every year we say we have good kids, we will win someday , only for the kids to leave arsenal when they come good. we'll prolly not win anything ever. carling cup's our ebst shot at a trophy, let's do it - Arsene Wenger
