Former Arsenal midfielder Stewart Robson has branded Arsene Wenger a "dictator". Robson made the claim in an interview with Suedeutsche Zeitung.

"He's untouchable, in complete control of the club and runs the club like a dictator. No one has the authority to fire him. He will go on and keep on overseeing a lack of success."

Robson believes the Frenchman has split Arsenal's fanbase.

He said: "Who is celebrating when they come fourth? Football is about winning things.

"Fans want to experience triumphs. Wenger on the other hand gives them a kind of relegation battle in reverse."
