Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he could be active in the January market.
The Gunners received another fitness blow after it was revealed Francis Coquelin is facing a lengthy spell out of the team after sustaining a knee injury in the defeat at West Brom on Saturday.
The club are in the process of conducting tests on Coquelin but they suspect he has ligament damage and Wenger confirmed he will be out for a minimum of two months.
Wenger said: “I'll do what's needed in January even though in January it is not an ideal transfer market."
