Arsenal boss Unai Emery is holding back Lucas Torreira due to injury concerns.

The Times says Emery has been protecting Torreira.

It has been reported that the Spaniard had medical concerns about the battling midfielder succumbing to an injury.

Instead of rushing the Uruguay star back, Emery decided to take his time and make sure the midfielder was fully fit.

Torreira started and played all 90 minutes for Arsenal against Chelsea at the weekend, providing his boss with a welcome boost.
