Unai Emery has deflected questions about Aaron Ramsey's contract situation following Arsenal's penalty shootout win over Chelsea in Dublin on Wednesday.
The Gunners midfielder was a late withdrawal from the match, prompting speculation he could be leaving the club. Arsenal were quick to end speculation by stating that Ramsey missed the match through injury.
When prompted about Ramsey's contract, which runs out at the end of the season, Emery remained coy.
He said: "I think this is for the club and for the player. My opinion is clear, I want him to be with us. But that is a question for speaking with the player and the club. He is a professional.
Asked if he'll sign a new contract, Emery continued: "I don't know"
