Arsenal boss Arteta: Silva has been incredible for Fulham

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says they're wary facing Fulham this weekend.

Arteta admits he regards highly Marco Silva's work at the Cottagers.

He said, "I think what Marco and the coaching staff did there is remarkable. The way they played last season and the where they finished in the Premier League and how they did it is incredible. He's a coach that I always admired. They have really clear ideas of what they want to do, you can see that in the way that he wants to. Tomorrow we'll have a tough match."

Arteta has never lost to Fulham as Arsenal manager.

"I didn't know that stat so it's something new! Hopefully we can continue that tomorrow. They're a team that creates a lot of challenges and difficulties. It happened last year. When we played there and at home we had tough moments. When we won at home it was in the last minute and when we won away we were really good in the first half and had tough moments in the second half. Tomorrow I'm expecting something different."

On facing the Cottagers after their sale of Aleksandar Mitrovic, now of Al-Hilal, he added: "I don't know. The majority of that core group has been there for a while and they've done really well. It's true that Mitrovic gave them a different dimension, but Jimenez is a very proven goalscorer in this league from Wolves. They have very good resources and the capacity to hurt you. Tomorrow we will see that for sure."
