Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has bullishly claimed that Aaron Ramsdale may stay at the club.
The English shot stopper is widely expected to move in in the summer for regular football.
However, Arteta has indicated the Gunners may choose to keep him as a no.2 for next season behind David Raya.
On Newcastle wanting Ramsdale, he stated: “I'm not going to comment on those things."
He then added on whether Ramsdale could stay: “Suggestion? There is a big reality that Aaron is here because he is our player and has a contract."
The shot stopper does have an agreement with the club that lasts until 2026.
