Arsenal boss Arteta identifies three winger targets

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is set to be backed by the club in the transfer market this January.

The Spaniard has seen his side storm to the top of the Premier League leading into the World Cup break.

ESPN claims that Arteta can bring in a central midfielder and winger to the squad in January.

Wolves wide-man Pedro Neto is an option, while Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha and Villarreal youngster Yeremy Pino are also very real options for the Gunners.

Arteta may prefer to go with a younger player, as that goes along with the ethos of the signings the club have made over the past 12 to 18 months.

The Gunners are aware they need to boost the numbers in their squad, as injuries derailed their campaign last term as well.
