Arsenal boss Arteta happy for Leno over Fulham success

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta says he's happy for Bernd Leno over his success with today's opponents Fulham.

The Gunners sold the Germany goalkeeper to Fulham last summer.

Arteta said, "I'm really happy for Bernd, he's a really good goalkeeper - we knew that. I'm really glad we went somewhere where he's happy and performing."

On whether they sold him too cheaply, the manager also said: "I don't know."

Willian is also starring with the Cottagers this season.

“When we decide that player is not continuing at the club, and they decide it's better to move somewhere, you have to wish the best for people, especially those two that are really nice characters," added Arteta. "We had a good time and experience with them."
