Arsenal have received a boost in their pursuit of Lille striker Jonathan David.
The Canadian centre-forward, who has scored 16 goals in 31 outings this season, is one of many strikers the Gunners are pursuing for a summer transfer.
Arsenal are losing Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah in the summer, who are both out of contract, while Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is now a Barcelona player.
Alexander Isak is another Arsenal target, along with David.
David recently said, via Jeunes Footeux: "I'm under contract at LOSC. The most important thing for me is to finish the season as well as possible.
"What happens after that, we will see. The Premier League attracts everyone. It is the most competitive league in the world. It is a really good league."
