Arsenal midfielder Kai Havertz was quick to praise the fans after their win over Liverpool.

The Gunners emerged victorious after a pulsating encounter in the Premier League on Sunday.

Havertz played a vital role for the team during their 3-1 success, which saw the home crowd raise their noise levels compared to previous home games.

“The small details made the difference today," Havertz stated post-game.

“Definitely our mentality and obviously the supporters helping us. We needed them today; they showed big belief and made us run. We are very happy about the three points.

“There's no secret to the win – two top teams on the pitch. The small details are very important, we scored two good goals, maybe they were a bit lucky, but their goal was lucky as well. We are very happy.

“It was a big night for us, the supporters were brilliant. We are very thankful for them."
