Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is in the sights of Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger. Wenger has been tracking the France international since he first broke through at Olympique Lyon.
Marca says with Emmanuel Adebayor arriving from Manchester City, Real coach Jose Mourinho is considering allowing Benzema to leave.
A loan deal as early as this month is under consideration and while Chelsea and Juventus have been mentioned, it's suggested Arsenal would be favourites for the Frenchman.
Much may depend on whether Nicklas Bendtner remains with the Gunners.
