Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp says the arrival of Emmanuel Adebayor has already brightened up the club.
The Togo international has joined Spurs on a season-long loan from Manchester City and Redknapp has indicated that he will be a big hit with fans of the North London club whilst providing the team with another avenue to goal.
"Just having Adebayor here this morning (Friday) brightened the place up," he said.
"Training was sharper and that's what happens when you bring new players in to a football club.
"If the other lads think they are good players then it gives them a lift. You could see an extra spring in training this morning. I think that's important."
