Argentina U20 coach Fernando Batista has no doubts Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez will adjust quickly to Spanish football.

Lautaro is a top summer target for Barcelona and Batista, who has worked with the striker at international level, has no doubts he's up to such a move.

He told Mundo Deportivo: "It will cost him less to establish himself in Spanish football than in Italian football. The defences in Italy are more aggressive, they score more, they do not give as many spaces.

"The Spanish defender gives two or three seconds of advantage. In Italy you have to be a very good striker to define how Lautaro does it. For example, Cristiano Ronaldo does not convert goals at Juventus as easily as at Real Madrid. It is because they mark him differently. A striker like Lautaro can easily adapt to Barcelona and also to Real Madrid.

“It seems to me that in Barcelona they are looking for someone similar to Luis Suárez. With (Lionel) Messi at the helm, Lautaro can do a lot at Barça and achieve something similar to what the Uruguayan did."
