Arca urges Middlesbrough not to get carried away

Julio Arca has urged Middlesbrough not to get carried away after their FA Cup victory over Mansfield.

With Barclays Premier League teams falling with alarming regularity, Boro will hope for a good draw in the last 16 to give them a chance of making the latter stages once again.

For Arca, a semi-finalist with former club Sunderland in 2004, that would keep alive the dream of a memorable day out at Wembley.

But the 26-year-old Argentinian is taking nothing for granted.

He said: "It would be a great achievement to do that kind of thing in England, but there is a long way to go yet. We have to go step by step and see what happens in the next round and who we get.

"But everyone has ambitions and the main ambition would be to get to the final. Everyone knows how important this cup is and everyone would like to win it.

"It would be great to make that final at Wembley - but it is too early to talk about that.

"We are happy to be in the next round and hopefully we will have a good chance in the next round to go a step further."
