Alvaro Arbeloa has played down reports of opening new contract talks at Liverpool.

Arbeloa, in line to play for Spain in tonight's friendly at home to Chile, said: "I have a contract with Liverpool for one more year. We've not spoken about renewing it, not knowing if Benitez will continue, it seems to me a little soon to talk about this."
