Anzhi midfielder Odil Akhmedov has welcomed interest from Arsenal.Izvestia says the Gunners are offering €4 million for the Uzbekistan international.

Akhmedov is excited by the prospect of moving to Arsenal and confirmed: "It is true I have interest from the London club, Arsenal. Their scouts have watched me in every game.

"If I move there, it will not only be a success for me, but for all of Uzbek football.

"Of course, I am happy at Anzhi, but I'd like to try England or Spain."
