Anzhi hope to sign Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda in the coming days.

The Mirror says the French midfielder, signed for £13.5m in 2007, has been banished to the reserves and has not made a first-team appearance this season.

With the Russian transfer window still open, Anzhi Makhachkala are ready to offer him an 18-month deal worth £4m.
