Anzhi are ready to pounce for Manchester City rebel Carlos Tevez.
The Mail on Sunday says last night it emerged that Suleyman Kerimov, billionaire owner of recently established Russian Premier club Anzhi Makhachkala, is ready to hand the disgraced South American a multi-million pound escape route.
Kerimov, whose notable signings this season are former Real Madrid, Barcelona and Inter Milan striker Samuel Eto'o and Brazilian star Roberto Carlos, has made it known he is keen to add Tevez to his burgeoning squad of world stars.
Carlos is the player-coach but the club have declared their interest in making Fabio Capello their permanent coach when his contract with England ends after next summer's European Championships.
